Grant Writing & Administration

We provide grant writing and administration assistance at a regional level as well as to counties, municipalities, and non-profit organizations. We can help you investigate potential funding sources, piece together complex funding programs, write and coordinate grant applications, and administer project funding.

Community Development Block Grants (CDBG)

For many years, WCWRPC has assisted communities throughout the region to apply for and administer Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), which are federal funds provided by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) for local projects.  Funds are passed down from HUD through the Wisconsin Department of Administration (DOA). â€‹

The program aims to assist the development of communities by funding planning and infrastructure projects, principally for the benefit of low-and-moderate income individuals. Millions of dollars have been invested in the region to bring these projects to fruition that allow communities to become healthier and safer places for people to live and work, and in turn, help local economies to grow.
